Guys! I only have two weeks left in Juneau. And as I sit in my favorite Juneau coffee shop powering out this blog post, I’ve finally come to realize I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m nearly finished with my bachelors and I have the fancy pin to prove it.
I’m almost finished at the Crab Shack, where I have built such lasting connections and relationships. I bet you’ve heard of it. Tracy’s King Crab Shack. It’s pretty damn popular. I’m a chef there and my days are almost done. And despite the hours and hours of running around like a chicken with its head cut off as hundreds of customers demand more and more crab I wouldn’t change it one bit because this job has taught me soooo much.
I’m also so so greatful for all the wonderful relationships that I’ve built up here in Juneau. And as my days are drawing to a close, I’ve come to appreciate them even more. These friendships will last for years.
It’s been an adventure guys and now its time to say goodbye. I will come back, maybe a couple years from now, to swim in Auke Lake or jump from the cliffs into the ocean at Lena Point, or even just to get flat out silly tipsy with my best friends again downtown.
Juneau I love you!
